Our People

Lori, Founder/Owner

Having a background and affinity for business management and marketing, I founded Splurge Salon in 2007 and recently added our innovative Facial Bar in 2013. I sought out the best and brightest beauty professionals who shared my vision, and together, we created a salon where artistic creativity is supported by a laser-like focus on client satisfaction. My intent was to create a strong collaboration between business and beauty that would enable us to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing salon industry. I am driven to develop the next generation of beauty professionals to bring you highly customized hair and skin care services. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by a core team of professionals who demonstrate true dedication to their craft and share an unwavering passion for personal well-being and positive self-image. I invite you to indulge soon in a well-deserved “splurge” of your choice! But first, take moment to meet my talented and dedicated team:

Hilary, Stylist/Educator

I began my journey in hairstyling in 2004 and have spent the past 10 years continuously honing my craft. I received advanced color education from the Wella Studios in New York and Los Angeles. One of my specialties is Balayage, the French technique for hand-painted hair highlights.  I learned cutting and razor techniques from Nick Arrojo of TV’s “What Not to Wear” show. I’m a “curly girl” myself, so naturally I also love creating great looks for curly hair. From long layers with dimensional colors to pixie cuts with bold tones, I love making people feel beautiful inside and out.  Aside from creating fashion-forward looks for my clients, I train and educate all incoming apprentices with a structured curriculum ensuring that we provide a solid knowledge base for new hair artists.

Whitney, Wella Educator

I am a Wella educator for Splurge Salon and divide my time between creating hair designs in the salon, and travel the country educating and training other stylists on the latest trends and techniques. I also attend regular classes to advance my own skills.  My mother has been a hairstylist for more than 30 years, so I have been watching and learning from this business most of my life.  In addition to working with clients, I enjoy leaving my artistic mark on photo shoots, fashion shows, and trade competitions.  I specialize in blondes and strive for a healthy natural looking finish. However, I take pride in all my colors, knowing I can provide quality and unique outcomes. Whether its color, cuts or bridal/special event hairdressing, my clients can always depend on me to take a high fashion look and provide a wearable “street style” version they can replicate at home. My clients become my friends and I love seeing them leave with the boost of confidence they all deserve.

Stephanie, Stylist/Specialist

I have trained in Miami, Chicago, New York, and Houston in haircutting, hair color, and skin care. In the last 15 years, I have earned numerous certifications, become a Master Stylist, and had some of my work published. I love to participate in fashion photo shoots and charity fashion shows, creating runway styles with hair and cosmetics. Technically, I enjoy working with all shapes and colors including classic bobs, curly and long layers, scissor over comb, dimensional colors and highlights, and smoothing techniques such as Brazilian Blowouts. I also offer advanced skin treatments to support all skin care issues. I believe that every person is a work of art, and I use my skills to help them achieve an image they will love and teaching techniques to keep their styles looking great at home.

Tiffany, Stylist/Skin Care Specialist

I started in this industry five years ago with a dream of creating new images for clients who take pride in their appearance. My professional goal has always been to advance my technical skill level. With that in mind, after earning a cosmetology license, I was fortunate to apprentice with top stylists in Dallas. I studied precision cutting at the advanced Vidal Sassoon Academy in Chicago. I also hold advanced color certifications from Wella, Redken, and Schwarzkopf. I specialize in creating natural looking highlights with creative placement to accentuate your best features. I am also dual certified in skin care and specialize in anti-aging facials, chemical peels, LED light therapy, and micro-channeling, to address any skin care concern.

Sheena, Stylist

My passion for hair led me to begin my career in 2003. Since then, I have had the opportunity to advance my skills through Wella, Sebastian, and Vidal Sassoon Academies. My first love is hair coloring, and I enjoy cutting and shaping new hairstyles to enhance hair color. The most enjoyment for me is satisfying my client’s desire for change with a style they can call their own. I take pride in helping clients with styles that suit their lifestyles. My extensive wedding and formal hairdressing experience is put to good use for the many clients who share their special events with me. Making your desired results come to life is what I do best!

Kacy, Stylist

Born and raised in Texas, I love all things big and blonde! I trained with master stylists at Toni & Guy Academy where I learned the art of hair. Today, some of my favorite activities are advanced women and men’s cutting and coloring classes, runway shows and style soirees. My specialties are highlights, Balayage, dimensional colors, beautiful bobs, all types of layering, and Brazilian blowouts. We use the best professional products in our facial bar for amazing results. When I’m not at work, I love to ride horses…just what you would expect from a Texas native!

Christy, Stylist/SPECIALIST

I trained at the Ogle Academy where I served as president of the Artistic Team. I have since advanced my education through classes in color, cut, re-conditioning treatments, body waves, and Brazilian blowouts. I am dual certified in skin care and continuously study the technological advancements in skin therapeutics. I begin each appointment with an in-depth consultation to ensure that you receive the right service for your hair and budget. I offer a wide variety of customized services designed to enhance the appearance and manageability of your hair. My goal is to make sure clients find their experience personable and pleasant, while leaving with services that fits their lifestyle and personality. Honest feedback is always welcome as it is the key to detailing your individual style to perfection.
